Suki’s life of the Party

RONALD “SUKI” KING might no longer be a champion in international draughts circles but locally he remains at the top of his game.

King defeated Carson Farley 1-0 and drew with Jack Francis 0-0 to win the Julie’s Party Rentals Double Knockout Competition Sunday afternoon.

Francis finished second and Farley third in what was the first official tournament of the Barbados Draughts Association (BDA) for 2016.

It was a round-robin of patient, tough, quality play and attracted a large crowd at the sponsor’s Bank Hall headquarters.
