HOURS after being re-elected Barbados Football Association (BFA) president, Randy Harris (left) was in Zurich where he had a “candid” one to one with new FIFA president Gianni Infantino.

Harris left Barbados on Sunday at the request of FIFA to attend a beach soccer meeting with the board he currently sits on. It was during the BFA annual general meeting that the newly elected president Infantino, sent a message requesting his presence.

The BFA president indicated that this gave him a further opportunity to discuss his vision for Barbados, including the full development of the Wildey facility with stands and lighting.

Infantino had a first-hand look at the situation Barbados faces when he and his delegation made an impromptu visit to the AstroTurf in Wildey in early February. (BN)
