THE HOTTEST NEW STAR on the racing block, Lucky Adventure, seeks a beaver trick in today’s feature race, the Louis Corbin Memorial Trophy Handicap over 1 100 metres against six opponents rated 95-75.
This is Race 6, with a post time schedule of 5:05 p.m. on the Barbados Turf Club’s seven-race card at the Garrison Savannah.
On a day entitled Honouring Former Barbados Turf Club Employees Raceday, the H and M-owned, Boston John-trained Lucky Adventure will want to prove a point at this distance, having won his last three races at the middle distance of 1 570 metres.
While he could face stiff opposition from A.P. Vincero and Vitality his main challenge could come from the speedy duo of Halle Rose and badly out of form Run Alke Run.
