A tenor for all seasons

WOW! ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL.

That’s how last Saturday evening turned out to be for a few hundred people attending the gala night at this year’s Holders Season.

A young man originally from Harlem, New York, but now a citizen of the world, delivered what had been promised – a refreshing musical treat with his wonderful tenor voice.

For one hour, Noah Stewart offered a range of music, such that the fan who loves operatic music would have been as pleased as those who love the music of Broadway or those more in touch with that old spiritual standard Deep River. His performance was wide and varied, but consistently one of a high standard.

He may have been an unknown among many Barbadian music lovers before the evening’s performance, but his voice and his name and most certainly the quality of his music will resonate with the audience for a very long time. The message of his talent will surely spread. (ES)
