BARBADOS SENIOR FOOTBALL CAPTAIN Emmerson Boyce is upbeat about his team’s chances against Curacao when the two clash tomorrow in the first round of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Caribbean Cup at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

England-based Boyce and first choice goalkeeper Keasel Broome of the United States arrived in the island on Sunday evening and completed their first training session with the team yesterday at the Barbados Football Association’s facility in Wildey.

“I am excited, obviously the last game we played we showed how good we can be and hopefully we can carry on that progress. Curacao is going to be a very tough game for us but I am confident because we have some good young talent there and everybody wants to show how good they are and hopefully we can get a good result on the night,” said Boyce.
