JUST HOURS after making a case for Barbados to forgive her brother, Peter Bradshaw, for the 1985 murder of 74-year-old plantation owner Cyril Sisnett, Rosita Bradshaw was fired from her job as a home help worker.
Speaking to the WEEKEND NATION, Bradshaw said it came as a surprise to her when the family of the elderly woman for whom she cared since November last year, gave her her walking papers.
Bradshaw explained that she took Saturday, March 11, off to receive her brother when he was released from Her Majesty Prison Dodds after being incarcerated for 30 years, and upon returning that same evening to the Brittons Hill, St Michael home where she worked, she was informed that her services were no longer required.
She said the reason given for the dismissal was that she was not treating the old lady properly, but she adamantly denied this, suggesting that her sacking had more to do with who her brother was than her professionalism.
