DANIELLE THOMAS and Paul Carrington shone the brightest to capture the queen and king titles in the Shine Like A Diamond pageant for people with disabilities held at Hilton Barbados on Sunday night.

Thomas and Carrington, who are both deaf, cried when the announcement was made.

They both impressed throughout the night, but Thomas’ highly energetic dance routine to Michael Jackson’s They Don’t Really Care About Us earned her the title of Best Talent.

First runner-up in the females was Delicia Boyce, who also won Best Formal Wear, while Lasonta Neblett was third.

Christopher Gilkes was second among the males while Seth Elcock placed third. (LK)
