Kale the right move

IT CAN BE juiced, minced, baked, fried or eaten raw.

It is called a “superfood” which provides the body with numerous nutrients. It is kale and Steve Forde has big plans for it.

Forde already grows the leafy vegetable along Warrens Heights, St Michael. He said it was something he had in mind for a while but he finally decided to go for it following an exchange with the store manager of Cost-U-Less Joseph LaChausse.

“The land in front me was full of cow itch which used to blow into my house so I contacted the owner and proposed we do something with it where we can help feed the community and make the area look good and I leased that land. (CA)
