PRO SHOTTAS UNITED, the Barbados Soccer Academy (BSA) and Dover Market Paradise emerged victors when the Guardian Group National Youth Tournament came to an exciting finish on Saturday at the Barbados Football Association’s (BFA) Wildey AstroTurf.
The Shottas needed an 18th-minute goal from Ethan Taylor to edge rivals Kick Start FC Kickers in the Under-11 category.
Pinelands claimed third position as they defeated West Coast Youth Academy 2-0, through goals from Kamal Bryan in the 17th minute and Amelio Jordan in the 37th minute.
BSA continued to dominate the Under-13 division, claiming yet another title when they defeated Mavericks Heat 2-1.
Shaqkere Parris handed BSA the lead in the 11th minute. He ran on to a through ball from midfield and fired.
