SO FAR, so good.

He didn’t win the singles tournament but Darian King is still satisfied all the same after winning the Hellenic Zeus ITF Futures’ doubles title immediately upon his return from a month long injury layoff from tennis.

“I mean it’s my first tournament back after my injury so I can’t complain,” said King moments after his hard fought semi-final defeat in Greece.

“These courts don’t suit my wrist as they are very fast but my game plans are helping me out so I can’t complain.”

Playing against Aussie Bradley Mousley, the 23-year-old Bajan lost 6-2, 4-6, 7-6(5) following a heart-breaking third set tiebreak.
