“So here’s my recommendation. At least let each option end with a voicemail so a caller can leave a message if he or she desires.” – In The Public Interest by Roy Morris, MIDWEEK NATION, Wednesday, April 13.
IF MR MORRIS believes his recommendation will be successful, he should think again. He may be less frustrated spinning a top in mud.
Mr Morris is not alone with frustrations trying to contact persons at various Government departments. With the ever-expanding telephone technology, a concomitant by-product of poor and unfriendly customer service is being served.
May I inform Mr Morris and others unaware that the above recommendation will only be successful if they do not hear: “Please enter a mailbox number” or “Sorry, mailbox full, goodbye”.
