Rendezvous stop BDFSP

A NEW champion will be crowned this year in the Banks Beer Champions Cup competition.

Reigning kings of knockout football, the Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP), were booted out of the competition after going under 1-0 to Rendezvous last Sunday night at the Barbados Football Associatiom’s Wildey Astroturf .

Earlier in the evening, another close encounter saw Mackeson Brittons Hill edging Direct TV Paradise 1-0 to earn a spot in the semifinals.

In four previous meetings the BDFSP defeated Rendezvous, but the tables turned at a crucial moment.
