A CERTAIN PROFESSIONAL with a dim light has been promoted and many are glad to see the back of her.
But, they also feel that it is doing harm to the profession since she is spiteful and vindictive and ultimately the profession would be dealt a devastating blow.
They say stockings must be worn by females with skirts and, if they so desire, they can wear pants and it would then not be necessary to wear them, and under no circumstances would she tolerate flat shoes being worn. Leather high-heeled shoes must be worn at all times.
Colleagues say the new boss is always trying to enforce rules which do not exist and is endeared to colleagues based purely on their status rather than the issue itself. Those new to the job have been given a stern warning as to what is expected of them and the consequences should they fail to adhere.
Though morale has risen in the department from which she was taken, many fear that the cut will be even deeper where she is now and the consequences could be devastating.
This one could prove to be a case for the record books.
Down low blow
A TEACHER at a St Michael school had the shock of her life when she had reason to speak to a child concerning the way he was attired, tight pants and all – or should we say skinny jeans, as they are more familiarly known.
The teacher, who likened the wearing of the skinny jeans fitting like a low-rider to the appearance of a man who had his assets for sale, was then torn into by the student. He was having none of it and intended to let ‘Please M’am’, who certainly was not pleased, know this too.
He gave the teacher a dressing down and further indicated to her that since she felt he had a gay appearance because of how he wore his pants, that he could substantiate his gayness by informing her that he has been having sexual relations with her husband for some time now. And, mind you, this altercation came about in the presence of the entire class.
Even us at P&S are in shock. And, those who saw the incident say they are giving up hope on the decaying school system.
Wife on the edge
A MAN who has a wife and many outside women has his wife on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
The calls on this one were many since most seem to think that the wife is a decent, respectable woman who does not deserve this disgusting treatment.
But the man, who sees himself as a demigod, is pressing ahead with his worthlessness.
He has four children from his wife, who lives in another Caribbean country, and he lives here in a house with one of his outside women. Whenever his wife asks to visit, demigod tells her that he is not a position to let her come as yet since he is looking for a house and is not comfortable having her stay with him in a City district he likened to the Wild West.
Wifey has heard about the wild life he is living and the numerous relations he is having and is becoming a nervous wreck. Close associates say he brutalises her whenever she stands up and puts a case as to why she should be here with her husband.
Stay tuned, this one is not going to end pretty.
Not music to her ears
CALYPSONIAN OBSERVER sang Schoolgirl Write, but it appears that it was schoolgirl wrong based on what transpired at a City school.
Parents overheard a child being flogged, as they waited for the school bell to ring, and one declared “I hope that ain’t my child getting beat so”, and the sentiment was shared by all of the others. Lo and behold, as the child exited the classroom, it was indeed her child. And, her child has a heart condition.
Well, the woman let loose a verbal assault in dialect that would put even the authors of the dictionary to shame.
The teacher who inflicted the brutal beating, P&S was told, fit herself under the desk of this child and refused to come out until it was all over. But this one is not finished there and we will revisit it as news comes to hand.
