Man on firearm charge remanded

KIRK DWAYNE ERSKINE AGARD will spend the next 28 days on remand before reappearing in court to answer charges of firearm, ammunition and drug possession.

Agard was remanded to HMP Dodds until June 6 when he appeared in District A Criminal Court No. 1 Monday before Magistrate Douglas Frederick.

Police executed a search warrant at Agard’s 1st Avenue, Godding Road, Station Hill, St Michael home last Friday. A .38 handgun containing five rounds was seized and they also discovered 500 grams of cannabis.

The cannabis has been given a street value of $4 400. (TKS)
