THE IMPASSE that has put a cloud on the administration of bodybuilding and fitness over the past year will be heard in the law courts tomorrow morning.

Yesterday, sources close to the legal firm of Simmons and Babb confirmed that the application has been filed as an urgent matter and will be heard tomorrow morning before Justice Olson Alleyne.

The law firm, acting on behalf of Manasseh King and Irvine Streete, filed the application which is challenging the constitutionality of last October’s controversial general meeting of the federation.

The legal team for King and Streete is seeking a declaratory judgment implying that there is no room in the constitution for officers to be installed at such a meeting. (MK)
