IN SPITE OF the controversy encircling the Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, all seems set for the staging of the island’s longest running competition at Combermere School tonight.

And the return of Roderick Waterman, the Men’s Physique showdown between Hadley Hoyte and Ryan Haynes, and the beauty and well-toned physiques of Bikini Fitness competitors Janelle Murray, Vicky-Ann Hope and Janesia Pitt should make the Bridgetown/Novice and Teenager show a treat for all bodybuilding fans.

All of the exciting disciplines of bodybuilding and fitness will be showcased with nine overall titles up for grabs, as over 50 of the island’s top athletes, including rookies, rising stars and stalwarts from 15 gyms, have entered in their respective categories. (EZS/PR)
