COME OUT and drive!

The chance to participate in motorsport is being extended to the average man as the Barbados Auto Racing League (BARL) makes its dexterity event Wheels And Heels open to all drivers regardless of skill and car.

BARL race director Roger Welch-Payne extended the invitation to the general public during Thursday’s press launch for the event, which is scheduled for Monday at the Massy car park in Warrens.

“We realise the cost of motorsport has been escalating over the years and this is a nice low-cost event which will allow guys who don’t have that high-end budget to come out and participate at a much lower cost as it is only $30 to enter the event,” said Welch-Payne. (JM)
