Waterman, Coward the champs

A RIPPED and ready Roderick Waterman finally conquered Mr Bridgetown and Lamarr Coward celebrated his 21st birthday with the Mr Teenager title to open the 2016 bodybuilding and fitness season on a high note.

Comeback kid Waterman and the promising Coward moved from second best to champions at the Combermere school hall on Saturday night.

Waterman, 49, was the runner-up at the 2010 instalment of Mr Bridgetown but was stripped of his silver medal after a positive drug test and was banned for two years.

Back for the first time in six years, Waterman was in top form and was a clear winner of the nine-man field that included former Mr Barbados Ramon Broomes.
