BUSINESSMAN Mark Maloney has brushed off criticisms of his business modus operandi.

“It doesn’t bother me . . . I can’t let things like that detract me” Maloney told the WEEKEND NATION Wednesday when pressed for his reaction to recent accusations associated with projects in which he is engaged.

He said he refused to be distracted from operating the business in which he had interests and would “continue to do what I am doing”.

Questions surrounding some of Maloney’s business ventures were raised in Parliament last week during Opposition Leader Mia Mottley’s no confidence motion against the Democratic Labour Party Government.

But in his response to the WEEKEND NATION on the matter Maloney said: “People don’t know the truth and they are going to make comments that are not true . . . I wish I got special treatment.”(GE)
