A NUMBER OF SERIOUS INJURIES and a death due to the recent spate of violence in some communities have triggered a Member of Parliament into finding a long-term solution to arrest the situation.

MP for St Michael West Central, James Paul, has engaged the services of social activist and former parliamentarian Hamilton Lashley to help him execute an initiative in his constituency.

A name has not yet been assigned but the two are looking to bring a wholescale community approach to finding a solution.
