Just for you, daddy

THE SKIES MAY have been grey but the smiles on the faces of fathers more than made up for the lack of sunshine yesterday.

And one of the brightest smiles was on the face of Barbados’ oldest father, Melville Williams.

At 106 years old, the active Lonesome Hill, St Peter resident couldn’t hide his excitement as his last daughter Catherine Lynch came in from the United States to be with him.

She, along with members of the Men’s Health Group from the Maurice Byer Polyclinic in St Peter, and the St Peter Parish Ambassadors brought a fruit basket for the special man, who was thrilled to welcome his visitors. (RL/HLE)
