AN OUTPATIENT OF the Psychiatric Hospital was found hanging in an upstairs room of a house in King Street, The City, yesterday morning.

And some people who are close to the situation suggested that what is now being treated as the unnatural death of a 61-year-old man, whose name was given as Charles King, could possibly have been avoided.

The MIDWEEK NATION understands that police were called several times between Monday evening and yesterday morning by the caretaker of the two-storey house, but there was no response until just after 9 a.m. yesterday.

Members of a family, who did not want to be identified, said police were called on Monday evening after they learnt that King had broken into the house he occupied for about six months before being asked to vacate because of unpaid rent. (YB)
