WORKERS OF THE Jada Group of Companies are assembled at the Barbados Workers Union, Harmony Hall, St Michael, in solidarity with some of their own.
One of the main issues they are hoping to ventilate is the case of five drivers who were made redundant about three weeks ago.
One of the affected workers claimed they were sent home because they did not want to participate in the company’s incentive programme, which was recently introduced.
The meeting, which got under way a few minutes ago, is being chaired by Deputy General Secretary Dwane Paul. (YB)
