BEFORE THE SUN SETS today, the 14-member Bayley family, who lost their home to fire on Friday, need to find somewhere to call home.

The family, who found temporary accommodation at Arjan Apartments, Accommodation Road, Bush Hall, St Michael, have to find somewhere since the apartment was only a short-term rental facility.

Barbara Bayley, matriarch of the family who lived at Holder’s Land, Bank Hall, St Michael, said she would like at least a four-bedroom home for herself, her four children, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, who range in age from ten years to seven months.

Bayley said she had submitted an application in the National Housing Corporation since September 1991 but was never able to get any housing. (LK)
