PARLIAMENTARY REPRESENTATIVE for St Philip North, Michael Lashley, is expected to meet with Superintendent of Prisons Lieutenant Colonel John Nurse today to discuss the broken fence at Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds.

Lashley visited the Church Village area yesterday, after it was highlighted in the WEEKEND NATION and said he received calls from several concerned constituents.

“I am concerned about it and I think that action must be taken very swiftly on it,” he said.

While noting that he was acting as Attorney General but did not tour the area in that capacity, Lashley said: “Of course, the security and safety of the residents and my constituents [are] paramount.” (LK)
