THE STRAY CATS have a lot of work to do if they are to be anywhere near ready for judging night on July 10.
It was not a good start for them when they made their first showing at the Crane Hotel last Friday night.
As a matter of fact, it was one of the more dismal openings for the tent. And I am not happy to say that. I am a cheerleader for the Cats. But the lair was in confusion.
Tent manager and leader Jerry Roberts, who refers to himself as De Big Boar Cat, was not in control of his “kittens” technically. (JS)
