TWO OF LOCAL SPORTS’ most prominent clubs are joining forces under one banner.
Clapham won’t be known for just basketball much longer, as the Burger King Bulls prepare to welcome former women’s volleyball powerhouses Toners to their historic club.
Newly installed Clapham president Ryan Leacock broke the news in a recent interview with the SATURDAY SUN ahead of the club’s major rebuilding plan that also includes adding a netball team.
“A few weeks ago we met with other members of the community regarding the state of Clapham Bulls and the direction of the club because there wasn’t much structure within the club for the last five years as people were just turning out for games and that needed to change,” explained Leacock.
