CONSUMERS WILL PAY MORE for gasoline, diesel and kerosene, and less for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from midnight.
The retail price of gasoline will move from BDS$2.85 to $2.93 per litre, an increase of eight cents per litre.
The price of diesel will rise from BDS$1.99 to $2.07 per litre, an increase of eight cents. Kerosene will now retail at BDS$1.03 cents per litre, an increase of 11cents.
Meanwhile, LPG will retail at BDS$136.99 per 100-pound cylinder, down from BDS$140.31, a decrease of $3.32.
The price of the 25 lb cylinder has dropped from $40.18 to $39.35, a decrease of 83 cents, while the 22 lb cylinder will now cost $34.79, down from $35.52, which is 73 cents less. The new price of a 20 lb cylinder is $31.63, which is 66 cents cheaper.
These adjustments in retail prices are due solely to changes in the CIF (cost, insurance and freight) of these refined products. (BGIS)
