GUYANA AMAZON WARRIORS recorded their second win, while St Kitts and Nevis Patriots fell to another defeat as the 2016 Caribbean Premier League T20 continued yesterday.

At Queen’s Park Oval, Chris Lynn scored 77 to guide the Amazon Warriors to 166 for four and a six-wicket win over Trinbago Knight Riders. This nullified an unbeaten century by Colin Munro, the first visitor to notch one in the competition.

Knight Riders now have one win and two losses as the Trinidad and Tobago-based franchise tries to defend the title.

Meanwhile, hosts St Kitts and Nevis fell just five runs short of the 153 for seven posted by Jamaica Tallawahs. Chris Gayle struck 51 and Andre Russell 34.

Several Patriots made decent starts but did not carry on, reaching 148 for seven when the overs ran out.
