‘Nothing doing’

THE ILLUSION OF ACTIVITY.

That was how political leader of the Barbados Labour Party Mia Mottley dismissed several projects, including the historic Sam Lord’s Castle, slated to get under way this year.

She was speaking as the St James South, St James North and St James Central constituencies held a joint meeting at Queen’s College last night.

She poured cold water on a statement by Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy, whom she said had indicated the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) would be conducting a feasibility study for a second airport. (HLE)
