ON FRIDAY, Hortense Rock will celebrate birthday No. 105.
Many celebrations are being planned for her special day, but yesterday she spent the morning giving God thanks for her long life at a service at her church, Ellerton Wesleyan Holiness, St George.
Rock, who was born and raised in Ellerton, has been a member of the church for most of her life. She credited her longevity with living her life “pleasing to God”. (LK)
