LESS THAN 48 hours after Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite’s controversial statement, murder accused, Police Constable Everton Gittens was granted bail by the High Court yesterday.

In a chambers hearing at the No. 2 Supreme Court, Justice Randall Worrell placed Gittens on $200 000 bail.

On Wednesday, Brathwaite addressed the Barbados Police Association and said he could not see why Gittens should not be granted bail if another murder accused, with the moniker “Lord Evil” (Andre Jackman), was released on bail.
