THREE TENT MANAGERS are not singing the praises of the judges and their 18 semi-final picks for the MQI/Mount Gay Pic-O-De Crop Competition.

House Of Soca’s Sharon Carew-White, Eleanor Rice of Cave Shepherd All Stars and Errol Griffith from The Experience all said they had “issues” with the results that were announced at The Crane, St Philip, early yesterday morning.

Carew-White’s bone of contention was that she heard “flawed” artistes when she visited other tents on judging night.

“I am a little shocked at the results. Having gone to most of the judging nights, if people make flaws I am surprised that they have songs that are strong enough that they can actually get through,” she said. (TTY)
