GOVERNMENT MINISTER Donville Inniss wants roadworks evenly spread across the island.
Inniss, Minister of Industry and Commerce, said, “I am really not satisfied with the amount of roadworks being done in St James South . . . and I have indicated that to my colleague Minister Michael Lashley.”
Speaking to the DAILY NATION yesterday at Durants Village, St James, where there was a ground-breaking ceremony for an access road to the soon to be constructed Maria Holder Nursery at Holder’s Hill, Inniss said a few months ago he and Lashley toured several affected areas in the St James South constituency.
“While I understand the challenges of government public finance and not being able to address all, I believe that much more can be done and must be done to address some of the road conditions in communities such as St James South,” Inniss said. (LK)
