NOT ONLY WILL Sweet Soca King Edwin Yearwood and Party Monarch Peter Ram defend their titles tomorrow, they will engage in a fierce battle on each other’s turf.

Edwin is in Party Monarch with a chance to dethrone Peter Ram, while Ram is in Sweet Soca with a chance to dethrone Edwin. It will all be revealed when the National Cultural Foundation stages its biggest event, MQI/98.1 The One Soca Royale, at Bushy Park at 3 p.m.

It will be an historic moment for both kings, win, lose or draw, since it is the first time they are in the finals of both competitions.

The SATURDAY SUN caught up with them earlier this week while they were rehearsing at The Lester Vaughan School. (TTY)
