PRESIDENT OF the Barbados Football Association (BFA) Randy Harris was elected to the executive board of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) at the 39th ordinary congress in Miami last Sunday.

Harris’ 18 votes were the most polled in the race to elect four new executive members to the board.

In reacting to the development, Harris told MIDWEEK SPORT he was extremely humbled by his election.

Over the next four years he will be involved in the running of the organisation to ensure it successfully fulfils the objectives of the sport.

He said being a member of the board can also have a positive impact on Barbados. (RG)
