LIT UP LIKE DAYTIME.

That is how the route for tomorrow night’s Barbados Light & Power Company (BL&P) Foreday Morning Jam will be illuminated. In addition to the erection of 75 light towers with a total of 300 high intensity bulbs, every street light along the route is guaranteed to be working.

Acting Superintendent of Police Bruce Rowe said: “I want to assure everyone that the Royal Barbados Police Force has left no stone unturned in policing Foreday Morning. We have done a complete walk of the route to identify the dark areas, the problem areas, and we will have the route lit like day.”

Rowe said yesterday during a press conference at the National Cultural Foundation (NCF) at West Terrace, St James, that another walk-through would take place just before Foreday Morning to ensure the lighting was spotting just where they want. (LK)
