AS HARRIET STUART relaxed in her bed watching television on Tuesday night, two bullets whizzed through her bedroom.

Seconds later, a burning sensation in her left arm left her petrified and sent a chill down her spine.

Her initial fear of being shot, however, quickly subsided, as she realised the sensation had been caused by one of the bullets that had come to rest on her hand.

“I thought I had gotten shot. I really thought I had gotten it when I felt that burning on my hand,” a shaken Stuart told the DAILY NATION from the verandah of her home at 9th Avenue, New Orleans, St Michael, yesterday afternoon. (RB)
