MACHEL MONTANO is in Barbados.
The soca superstar and his crew landed today at the Grantley Adams International Airport for the 1Love concert to be held later at The Concorde Experience. Montano told BARBADOS NATION it was so nice he had to do it twice. 
“Two love is better than one love so why not. I love the Caribbean unity and all the artistes who come on the show are very talented. It is also a chance to push Crop Over globally,” he said.
The singer turned actor has his first movie Badozee out and said he will be on the road tomorrow, Kadooment Day.
Lia Gadjahar, one of the organisers behind the event, said a 1Love part two was always in the works.
“My team feels this type of production is needed. From the lights to the stage to the sound we can show the world we can put on a production to rival any international artiste.”
Last year Rihanna was a surprise guest on the show and Machel and Gadjahar said surprises like those were always welcomed, even though they are not sure who will appear as a surprise this year.
The event will have most of the soca artistes present and some out of Nigeria. (NS)
