Woman on cocaine charges

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and charged a Guyanese woman with four drug offences after she allegedly passed 102 packages of cocaine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Thirty-seven-year-old Sachiel Sundaba Peters arrived in Barbados from Trinidad and Tobago on July 25 and was interviewed by police before being referred to the QEH.

Police say the drugs weighed 1.5 kilogrammes.

Peters will appear in court on Wednesday accused of possession of cocaine, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. (PR/NB)
