THE NEXT STEP in Barbadian tourism will be all focused around the question, “Who am I?”
The grounds of the Barbados National Archives were buzzing yesterday with the launch of a new Barbados Tourism Product Authority initiative called the Genealogy Marketplace.
The new project is centred on discovering the roots of Barbadians not only on the island, but also those living abroad.
Minister of Culture Stephen Lashley nailed home the importance of such a venture as he explained the marketplace would serve as a new platform on which a new tourism niche would be created. (AD)
