THE MAN WHOSE body was pulled from the Careenage early this morning by officers of the Police Marine Unit and Coast Guard has been identified as 69-year-old Leroy Grant of Greenfields, The City.
Grant’s daughter Jeannell Grant-Cox who identified the body said that her father was a somewhat troubled man.
“He used to say that he was having a lot of abdominal pain, and one time I found a rope hanging in the house. He also left behind a note saying that he couldn’t take it anymore. I tried to get him to hold out hope, but it was not to be,” she said.
Grant, a retired general worker at Purity Bakeries, leaves to mourn his two daughters. (RA)
