THE EDUCATION SYSTEM needs an overhaul, a speaker at a youth forum has said.
Kaila Headley, an alternate CARICOM youth ambassador, cited inadequate funding and lack of jobs as issues that needed to be addressed when she spoke at a town hall meeting held by the Barbados Youth Development Council (BYDC) on Friday.
The session, held at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth at Sky Mall, was entitled Ask We Bajan Youth.
Headley said lack of funding made it difficult for many young people to pursue tertiary education. (TG)
