ROAD TENNIS, Barbados’ indigenous sport, is continuing to evolve.
And from its beginning in the 1930s to the present, it has proved to possess the potential to be some day added to the list of Olympic sports.
Until then, administrators have been working steadfastly not only to spread the sport across the globe, but to ensure the passing on of knowledge remains at the highest standard.
What better way to achieve this objective than to enhance the level of coaching.
The World Road Tennis Federation and the National Sports Council collaborated to carry out a five-day training programme, The Road Tennis Train the Trainer Course, at the Barbados Olympic Association (BOA).
