And their copycat behaviour has landed them under the spotlight of the National Council on Substance Abuse (NCSA).

NCSA manager Betty Hunte said that marijuana use should no longer be automatically linked to the boys on the block.

“Right now our major concern is trying to reach out to the girls in our population,” she said, while addressing the DAILY NATION after a Programme For Drug And Violence Prevention, Treatment And Rehabilitation’s 2016 presentation ceremony. (TG)
