IF THE YOUTH in this country live by the gun, then they will die by it.

This was the warning given yesterday by retiring rector of St Joseph’s Parish Church with St Aidan’s Anglican Church, Canon Errington Massiah.

“As I leave this parish, the youth is of concern to me. Too many youth are involved in gun crime. They need to turn themselves to Jesus,” the outspoken priest told the congregation who filled St Aidan’s Church in Bathsheba.

“Today now, we’re not getting the young people, they’re seeing a different god. They’re seeing their god in guns. But I must warn this nation that those who live by the gun, shall die by it,” Massiah said in his sermon. (AD)
