Two falls lead to life of pain

JUST UNDER A YEAR AGO, Hyacinth De Couteau was an active cook who spent hours daily on her feet on the job and at home.

Today, she cannot walk without assistance. She suffers excruciating pain no matter what she does.

When she is lying down, she is in pain.

When she sits up, she’s still in pain.

When she tries to get up, she’s in even more pain. (SP)
