THE Barbados International Hockey Festival is not only about winning.

Chairman of the Festival, David Rouse said that they would like the annual one-week competition to be treated like a “festival” every time and not about winning.

“I cannot say we had any complaints but just one area of concern is that there are a few teams that seem to be losing focus in terms of what the festival is really about and would like to win at any cost.

“The win or loss does not really matter. Yes, you want to win but if you lose, you accept it and move on. But there are some local teams that would like to win basically at any cost,” noted Rouse. (JC)
