$100 bill ‘but no running water’

WHERE IS THE water?

That is the question coming from Yearwood Road, Sugar Hill, St Joseph resident Lydia Haynes-Watts who has spent the last six days without water. lydia-haynes-watts

And to add insult to injury, the 44-year-old mother of four said her water was due for disconnection as she had received a bill for $102 from the Barbados Water Authority (BWA).

This is, despite having an intermittent water supply for weeks on end.

Haynes-Watts, who said she had previously suffered a stroke, told the MIDWEEK NATION she had been without water since last week Thursday. (AD)
