A MAN WAS shot tonight at 6th Avenue, Deacons, St Michael.
He was taken from the scene by ambulance as police combed the surrounding area for the shooters.
The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. and the condition of the man was not immediately disclosed, but Police say the 24-year-old was attacked by a number of masked men.
His identity has not been released but witnesses say the victim is from the nearby Deacons Farm.
Meanwhile, police arrested a man after an operation in Proute, St Thomas, this afternoon.
Along with the man, the investigators also removed a firearm from the address. While police confirmed the operation and arrest, the identity of the man has not been released. (AC)
